PSF has been associated with PM Shri Narendra Modiji's 'Swacch Bharat Abhiyan' and has been working at its own level to bring swachhta in and around our city. Garbage is indeed a big issue and our research found that often food from homes finds its way on to the streets and is a major cause of dirt and garbage in cities and towns. Everyday food waste in huge quantities is thrown on to the streets. This is not just wastage of precious food but also litters our streets and gives foul smell.
We, at PSF designed a Food Patra- A Pashu Aahaar Patra that can be placed at places where people can access it easily. This Food Patra has different sections for food and water that can be used by animals and birds for consumption which is the right use of precious food and water resources and a noble act as well.
This Food Patra was placed at crossings or in the neighbourhood parks or streets.
